This is the desert. It is often a cruel and unfair place.

The danger has shifted. Once the hope of his civilization, the Grand General has become their well-intended oppressor. His soldiers, part flesh, part stone, now divide their efforts between protecting the people from the cannibalistic hives to the west, and punishing those same civilians who question their tyrannical ruler.

No one is ever without a choice, however, for the people to consider one is a death sentence; for the stonemen, it is something worse. And yet, the only force that can match the Grand General is the heart, and the choices it must make. In this atmosphere of fear and despair, one small secret forces such a confrontation.

But will the ripples of choice free man and stoneman, or destroy them all?
